Out With The Old & In With The New

Okay! , I know I have not made a blog post in a while, But with the new year just days away its been pretty hectic. Might  I add i have so much stuff to get done. So anyways I just wanted to kind of take a minute for this quote. This quote is from the book "Twenties-Unscripted", When I seen this quote  I just fell in love.   It simply reminded me of this year. 2015 was a emotional rollercoaster to say the least, but it was worth the lessons in the end.   Alot of the things that i went through in the year of 2015  , I didn't quit understand them as they were going on. But as i realized i needed those things and lessons to happen. This year showed me how strong i am as a individual and also that i wont let any one get in the way of my Dreams and aspirations.  I can say that this year definitely threw its punches at me, But i got right back up ready to swing.   consider 2016 the great start  a clean slate, a New Beginning.  Knowing that i turn 22 in the new year, makes me more excited than  I was on my 21st birthday. 2016 will be a year for me to Really  evolve and become the women iv'e alway wanted to be. Though i've always wanted to be her, 2016 is a great way to start my journey of true womanhood. With that being said i will go after every opportunity I have and i will do what makes me happy.  It's a great thing when you can really see yourself evolve into this beautiful person. I've learned that no matter what our purpose  is it will always be for us ,despite someone trying to change that.  What's mapped out for us , will always be ours. So as i go into 2016 I will become everything i set out to be and more.  2016 is my stage from a Caterpillar , into a Beautiful Butterfly.

The ItGirl Project

Okay guys!, so as most of you know a couple of days ago I announced some news. I am officially apart of the "ItGirl" Project. This is a movement for young girls and women to be inspired and empowered by.  I thought i would give you more information about the project, because i gave very little details.  So first off i will be the content creator for the "ItGirl" Website and I am also the Brand Ambassador for the project and movement as well.  I can say that  I am truly blessed and humble for this amazing opportunity for me to start my career and start making a name for myself.  The founder Tottianna when she came to me about the idea and told me what the project was going to be about, I could not  turn it down.  I was like this is a project i can connect well with and something i see going really far. 

The Project is about the empowerment of women and young girls. With guidance and coaching we will increases awareness of how important it is for us women to banned together and support each   other.  We will also focus on personal development as well. 

What is a "ItGIrl" ?  Well many of you may be wondering what exactly is a "ItGirl" . It's someone who embodies strength and integrity .  A woman or young girl who has  the compassion for what she does. She promotes positivity in her everyday life and carries herself as a lady.  She always holds her head held high no matter what. She is driven . motivated, sophisticated also classy with  a little bit of sass.  Being a "ItGirl" is more than just a title, Its a LifeStyle. <3 

Monthly Recap! November

        Alright guys! So Let's get right into it, so first and foremost I want to say I hope everyone had amazing thanksgiving with their families.   But honestly can you believe it's December already, guess what i can . I literally was waiting for november to be over just so it could be december already.   The month of november was kind of boring guys, i just worked a lot and I'm finishing up my semester at school.  One thing i can say though is that towards the last week of november i got an exciting email, about a project in the new year. So I'm am excited for that, but all in all november was just a working month for me, especially in retail with black friday and all that good stuff. Literally i worked so much the last week of november , my body was worn out but im good now or trying to get back in the swing of things.  I should be able to post a little bit more considering now this month is December. But i will be busy with getting everything together for my blog , i am re-launching my blog in the new year with a new name and new design, so be looking out for that. Also stay tuned for the awesome project I'm going to be apart of. But i can't wait until i write the December reap, which will probably be  video recap and reflecting on the year of 2015.  I can't wait for you guys to see all the amazing things i have planned in the new year for my blog and others things.  But I will talk to you guys in my next post !.

Becoming A Girl Boss

      So, becoming a girl boss isn't that easy as snapping your fingers and thinking it is going to appear in front of you with a  blink of an eye. It takes a lot of hard work and persistence and patience. With that being said being the ultimate girl boss means you're in full charge of your life and  career. Being organized and staying on top of your work is very essential ,  I mean after all if you're going to be a girl boss  we have to come in guns blazing !  I've learned that writing down your goals helps make you act towards them a lot faster and effectively. You always want to be two steps ahead of the game, so make sure when you plan out things you're doing so strategically and carefully . Always believe in yourself and NEVER take no for an answer. There are going to  be times when people tell you , you're not good enough or that you're doing it all wrong and you're not going to succeed.But hey! don't pay them any attention keep your head held high and remain the best you . The key is believing in yourself, it will take you a lot further than you think. Remember becoming a girl boss is never easy but it's worth the fight and the reward in the end is so much better!, so never give up and never settle. be The best girl boss i know you can be.

Introducing new musical sensation Alessia Cara.  With her  soulful voice to her edgy style

this 19 year old canadian singer is rocking the charts with  her hit single "Here"  ft in the upcoming issue of RollingStone Magazine. Alessia cara was like any other  normal teenager  fooling around on youtube and then started posting her own videos at the age of 13. Little did she know she would become a mega superstar.
Her hit single "Here" talks about being an antisocial pessimist  at a party.  Also stated in the issue of RollingStone magazine alessia cara says that she didn't even tell her  friends about her pop star dream until last year when she got signed to  defjam records.  She has turned some heads and a lot of people can relate to her first studio album  that is officially out titled "Know It All"  wit her hit single "Here" ft on their as well as some other great songs such as "Seventeen" and "Scars To Your Beautiful". My Top #5 Career Tips

So I thought i would do a post dedicated to all my Girl Bosses out their! I love seeing blog post about getting your dream career and doing well in your field. Well here are some of my career tips for my lovely ,but oh so fabulous girl bosses in the making, considering I'm one in the making as well.

Tip #1 Promote Yourself
It's very important to promote yourself, considering when you're first starting off your the only one on your team. I mean its not like you already have a publicists  ,shoot girl you can be your own publicists. We have so many social media platforms , why not use them to promote your passion. So use you twitter,instagram,facebook and youtube channel to put your brand and business out their on the map. Promote!,Promote!,Promote! the more you promote the more traffic your providing for your brand and business.

Tip#2 Write Down Goals
I think this is very essential when your trying to figure out exactly what you're trying to do and the path your trying to take. So writing down your goals makes them more visual and you're willing to work a lot harder towards it , because it is down on paper. Also another thing that is helpful when ever you complete a goal why don't you mark it off that way you can keep track of your progress and see the goals that you have completed and the one's you need to work on achieving .

Tip#3 Stay Positive!
So this is super important. I feel like we all need to keep a positive mindset and also surround ourselves with people who are going to uplift us verses bring us down. The more you stay positive the more the universe is going to bring positive things into your life, if you're constantly doubting yourself and putting yourself down you're only going to attract the negative. Some things that can help with positivity is meditation and yoga.

Tip#4 Take Risk
Don't be afraid to take risk and take chances. Your never know until you try right? Sometimes taking risk or major stepping stones can be really scary, but we can't' let the fear of the unknown keep us from not following our dreams or passions. taking risk can be Awesome opportunities. So just build some courage and just Go for it!.

Tip#5 Network!!!!
Guys there is a reason i made this one last. Networking is so important and so crucial to any brand or business. Not only do you have to promote yourself, but you also have to Network as well. You never know who your going to be with in a room full of people. Your a career girl you should always , always keep some business cards on you at all times. Networking can get you really far actually, you never know who is looking to give the next person a awesome opportunity that they just cant turn down. So always be ready, and always have your game face on .

Gigi and Kendall will grace the Victoria's Secret catwalk for the very first time, Airing on December 8th of 2015. 

This past weekend they were off pre filming this huge exciting event. These girl have worked 

so hard to get to where they are now. Some might think being a model is easy But it really is not, there are tons of photo shoots , you're literally living out of your suitcase because you're always traveling somewhere. But being a model has it perks as well. You get to travel see exciting new places, make new memories. The fact that these two best friends who happen to be models got to share this amazing opportunity together. I think that is a super plus if you get to work with your bestfriend and see each other get to the top together, it can be a really fun experience. So Good job girls on making your dreams come true!.  SO excited for you girls to be the new angels of victoria's secret.

Meet Youtuber Morgan brown also know as ItsHeyMorgan from youtube. This young youtuber is  inspiring girls with her savvy fashion style to her Beauty videos on youtube. Morgan just recently hit an amazing milestone on her youtube channel, Officially hitting 100,000 subscribers on youtube .Wow that is  a great accomplishment for morgan and she is one who truly deserved it. Morgan is such a humble and sweet girl. Not only did morgan just hit a 100,000 subbies but she also Announced on her youtube channel that she has officially launched her own clothing line and Iphone App. Now this girl is really on fire. She  is driven and ambitious and really loves what she does.  You can find beauty videos, fashion videos and even some funny creative videos on morgan's youtube channel.  She captivate's  her audience with her goofy personality with a touch of awesomeness. zendaya style is incredible. She is not afraid to take fashion risks, and even switch  it up  a little.  She is a great example of young women who wants to inspire girls to be their true selves. Zendaya is always playing around with her style whether it's her clothes that she wears or even her hair. She has rocked multiple hair styles and has slayed them all. She's  all about being true to yourself, letting your true colors shine and just having fun and being surrounded by great people and staying humble. Month In Review #2

So Hey guys, this is my Month in Review #2 for october. So this month was a pretty boring month for me.

I  have been swamped with school and work , but on the bright side

guys 2015 is almost over. I'm super excited to see what the last two months of 2015 have in store for me. I think my monthly Recap for the end of the year is going to be a very long and interesting one, so make sure to be on the lookout for that one. But besides that I want to know what are you guys plans for thanksgiving this year. What are you guys thankful for  or  grateful for this year. I know we're all excited for thanksgiving , who doesn't like to eat all that  yummy food. on the other hand this is the time to start working out and  getting our bodies right for spring break, we all know that it will be here sooner than we think.  But not to make this post long, october was a pretty boring month for me. Brittany Hampton - She is DVF Brand Ambassador, I loved watching her on DVF and her style and the way she carries herself sure does explain why they picked her to be the Brand Ambassador for DVF. Her fun style and Pop of color just brightens up your feed, her account is one of my favorites. Can't go wrong with some pop of color. 

TheEveryGirl- I love the every girl account . It's full of inspiration and so much advice on career, lifestyle and travel. it's the right instgram account for bloggers and career girls. we all need some advice here and there and this is the perfect account for it. 

TheCourtneyKerr - Her spunky instagram feed and her amazing style is something that I adore and love. Courtney is a Fashion Blogger who is absolutely astonishing .Her style is so cute and fun while showing her personality.  If you need some pop of color and cuteness on your feed , her page is definitely one to follow. 

ElisaJohnson- Elisa j is known as the daughter of Magic Johnson and sister of E.j Johnson. Her rebel like style is out of this world. I occasionally like to have a little spunk in my wardrobe so i love getting inspiration from this girl. Her style is to die for and she  sure does know how to dress.

ColorMeCourtney  - This colorful , free spirited blogger is someone I love having on my instagram feed.She is so full of life and color and it really shows in her pictures.  She lives in NYC and her blog and instagram page is something that is truly unforgettable.  

Must Have Bag Essentials

So we all know we all have to keep certain things in our purses girls. So i'm going to share with you some of 

my key items i like to keep in my bag. 

1. Cell phone 

I literally have to have my cell phone with me at all times. You never know what your going to need it for. 

2. Makeup Bag

My makeup  bag is my life. You never know when your going to need to touch up your make up or even apply makeup. so its always a good necessity to have in your bag ladies. 

3. Emergency Kit 

We all should keep a little mini emergency kit in our purses, just in case of an emergency. 

maybe like so,e spare bobby pins, a extra tampon and little mini deodorant and some wipes. You never know girls. 

4. Little Notebook

I love carrying a notebook in my bag , you never know what new ideas may come to mind. So when you get a great one be sure to pull out your notebook and write it down. 

5. Bottled Water

It's very important that we stay hydrated through out the day. So its always good to carry a water with you just incase you get thirsty. 

5 Ways To Relax

1. Meditate. I know it sounds kind of crazy , but seriously meditation relieves stress and it makes you a more calmer  person. So just take atleast 5 to 10 minutes a day to meditate, I promise it will be the best thing you have ever done.

2. Get away from all the Chaos! Take the time out to go to a quiet place or to just simply get away from social media and just take time for yourself. Maybe go read a book or go to the park . Take a breathe of fresh air.

3.  Music, go put on your favorite playlist and have a dance party in your room by yourself. No is watching right? lol so who cares just dance and let loose and have fun.

4. Shopping! Now come on girls we all know how shopping can just make us so much happier right? so a little shopping wont hurt , I mean it is relaxing, so maybe go shopping with some friends or maybe even your mom, plan a girls day.

5. Writting . I personally love writing. It is  one way to reflect and to get to know yourself all in one pen stroke. just write about anything pretty much. Write about your day, maybe something that you're interested in. Its just a really fun and simple way to relax and  to get your mind off  of things.

(September) Monthly Recap

So hey guys!, so I know I'm super late on this monthly wrap up . just give me time I'm new to this. Okay so I'm going to try to do a monthly check In with you guys every month, It will be a way that i can update you guys month to month on what's going on. So starting with last month since we are now In october, Last month in september i decided to finally start my blog literally after countless times of doubting , and pushing it back, I was like you know what I'm just going to do it!. so i basically "launched" my blog september 20th if we shall say, And I'm super glad i started it. Honestly I don't know why it took me so long , Even though i just started blogging only a month ago , It has been something that I have been wanting to do for a really long time. It's a lot of work and there's so much more work to be done for my blog but I'm very pleased with it so far,  i really appreciate all the feedback that it has gotten. September was a good month for me just because i started my blog and I'm  just really Happy with it overall. This was a short monthly wrap up, but i'll be back at the end of october and early november with a new wrap up for you guys!. See ya next time !

Selena gomez album Revival released yesterday october 9th.This album is absolutely amazing !!!! I can not tell you how many times it's been on repeat,and it just came out yesterday. This album is super  sexy, confident, determined and just kick ass if you ask me. The way selena portrays herself on  this album you can tell she is more Confident  person and also owning up to her body and letting you know it's okay to be you, it's okay to be sexy and confident and be a women. If you were to ask me if i would have  ever expected this album to be this Amazing   i would have been taken by surprise. Like i'm so in love and obsessed with this album. I genuinely feel like she took her time with this project and  crafted it exactly how she wanted it to be and  put it out for the whole world to see . Change Is Good,Right?

So recently I have came to the realization that in most cases change is good.  Its pretty essential for when you want something better or simply because all the things that you were use to or surrounded by became old, and you just wanted  something different.    I am a person who has big dreams , and always have since i was little girl. I knew that one day i would get out of this small ,crowded town i live in a make a life that i always dreamed of and to have the career that i have always wanted. Comes that there are sacrifices. Meaning that if you know where you want to go  and where you want to be sometimes you have to leave people and things behind. Me knowing exactly where i want to be, i feel as if it's finally time for me to make a decision. A decision that is to go or to simply stay. I as of right now am not content with anything that's going on. As i stay up  until 3 o'clock almost every night i can't help but to think about my life, career and where i could possibly be right now.    For a long time now i have been the only one holding myself back. I think it's the little bit of fear i have that is keeping me where i am. but i refuse to let that little bit of fear stop me from going after what  i want and where i want to go .So with that being said  maybe it's time to take that leap of faith and just simply book my plane ticket and get started on my New journey. Sometimes we have to go for the things we truly want and just do it and know that everything will fall into place and be alright. 

Creative ,Innovative And Simply Inspired

So honestly i didn't know what my next post was going to be. Until that is i came across this picture. "Beautiful Minds Inspire Others" and as i read this quote i get to thinking that is so true. I'm a person that is all about creativity and being innovative and coming up with new crazy ideas. Sure just one person alone can come up with a great idea , but how ever when you have two people or more as a team can come up with a totally awesome idea that is out of the park and that is brilliant beyond measures.  I think its very important to kind of step out of your comfort zone and connect with others and share your ideas and help one another. I love connecting with people and networking and sharing my ideas with others who could possibly help my idea come to life and vice versa. So  get out their  connect with  people that share your passion, and go come up with a  crazy , awesome and Brilliant Idea! Lets be Simply Inspired by one another . 

GiGi Hadid Taking A Stand

Okay guys so GiGi Hadid graces the cover the of the november issue of Elle magazine. I was super excited when i seen this. Gigi is gorgeous , confident and has a very successful career in modeling.  I personally love gigi I think she is a great girl and she has a lot going for her. Recently Gigi posted a instagram post basically addressing the hate she has been receiving from people on social media.  In the post she is addressing the hate about her  body and saying it's okay to have a butt and boobs.  It's okay not to be the "ideal" body type in the fashion industry and i applaud gigi for that, taking a stand for herself. Honestly i feel as if people bash other people or women in general about their body type.We live in a society that tells us if we're not stick skinny then were not perfect or we don't have the perfect body and Gigi is the complete opposite. She is giving girls all around the world hope that it's simply okay to have curves.

Hey guys! this is my first blog post , so i thought i would write about something  that i been thinking a lot about lately. I'm always thinking about the future and the things i want to do and the places i want to go and how i want to be successful.  Though i know these things will not be easy ,I'm  okay to take that chance. So i thought i would give some advice to my future self.

Always love your self first-   Don't forget to love yourself unconditionally . always remember that when you can truly love yourself for who you are and except any flaws  you may have , you can love others organically and freely and you wont have to have others validate the love you have for yourself.

Don't give up - You know what it is like to have people give up on you and tell you that you will never make your dreams come true. keep that as fuel to make everything you ever dreamed of a  Reality! your dreams are never to big you just simply know how to dream well i should say. You can do anything you put your mind to Believe me you can make it happen. A lot of people doubt you and have doubted you a lot in the last couple of years, but you cannot let that determine your future and all the things you are destine to accomplish. your special and you have everything going for you and more.

 Be grateful of the journey- Your journey is a on going process. make sure to allow all the things you encounter on your journey into the process of creating a better you. their is always room for improvement never settle for anything less. you have to remember what you want  the most of the precious life we have. though the journey will get difficult at times you have to keep your head held high and to simply never give up , just no that is never a option. don't dwell on the Negatives enjoy the Positives and all they have to offer.

Live Freely,Live Spontaneously& Love Often- Don't  forget to live this insane, crazy and gorgeous life you have. though you can get rapped up in all the chaos that is going on around you, you tend to forget to live and be in the moment. put time and the energy  into the things that truly make you happy and that feed your passion. enjoy the time you have with loved ones and the friends that you keep close to your heart.  don't forget to smile and be grateful for everything that is yours. Appreciate life a little bit more.
